No decision was made to ban outbound tourism to Turkey

Vladimir Putin discussed with Recep Tayyip Erdogan a number of issues, including issues of the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine, the issue of the safety of Russian tourists in Turkey.

As a result of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers under the leadership of Mishustin, no decision was made to ban outbound tourism to Turkey. The prime minister only made a statement on the need to reduce the risk of importing new strains of coronavirus into Russia. In his message, the approaching May weekend was noted and that it was necessary to take measures to limit the spread of the infection, but which ones were not specified.
