The April sales results were analyzed by the Turkish Statistical Institute TÜİK.
The annual increase in house prices in Turkey was 31.7%. Despite the fact that the volume of sales decreased by 13.8% compared to March 2021, but exceeded the indicators of April 2020 by 124.1%.
At the moment, the average price per square meter in Turkey has reached 3,113 Turkish lira (TL), and the average price per housing unit is 404,690 TL.
According to the results of sales for April:
Istanbul is in the first position with a share of 20.1% - 19,260 transactions.
It is followed by the capital of the country Ankara and its share in the total volume is 9.5% - 9126 transactions.
The third position is occupied by Izmir, where the urban transformation is in full swing - 5505 transactions, or 5.7%.
While the annual increase in prices in Istanbul, where the largest number of residential real estate is sold, amounted to 23.4%. The average selling price per square meter was 4564 TL, and the average price per housing unit was more than half a million TL.
In Ankara, the annual increase in value was 26.4%, the average selling price of 1 sq. M reached the figure of 2385 TL, Turkish liras, and the average price of housing - 310 050 TL.
In Izmir, the annual growth rate is 34.5%. One square meter will now cost an average of 4128 TL, and housing - 516 thousand TL.
