New conditions of entry into the country for Russian tourists have been published by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey. The expected changes will primarily affect bonuses for vaccinated tourists - they will not need to take tests, and they do not risk the consequences associated with them.
So, the regulations announced by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Turkey now look like this:
The tourist will be required to provide a document issued by the official authorities confirming that he was vaccinated at least 14 days before entering Turkey. Confirmation of the presence of antibodies is also accepted, i.e. that the tourist had been ill with covid in the last 6 months.
These tourists will not be required to have a PCR test with a negative result, and they cannot go to quarantine.
A tourist who cannot present a vaccination certificate or documents confirming that he has had a coronavirus must provide a negative PCR test, taken a maximum of 72 hours before entry, or a negative rapid antigen test result, taken a maximum of 48 hours before entry ...
These tourists, upon arrival in Turkey, can be subjected to PCR testing based on sampling at their destination by the Ministry of Health.
These tourists will be allowed to travel to their final destination after samples have been taken for analysis. However, if the test results are positive, they will be processed in accordance with the Ministry of Health's COVID19 guidance. Moreover, those who are in close contact with tourists with a positive test result will be placed in a 14-day quarantine at the addresses indicated by them.
If the PCR test results are negative at the end of the 10th day of quarantine, the quarantine conditions will be lifted.
In addition, you will need to complete a passenger information form at register.health.gov.tr 72 hours before travel.
