Today, the Turkish government is discussing a bill, according to which the largest debt amnesty in the history of the country will be carried out. Individuals and businesses are expected to be cleared of debts for insurance premiums, for electricity and water, as well as tax debts, administrative fines and student loan debts. At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the process and conditions for writing off debts will be discussed. Most likely, some debts will be restructured, and those that do not exceed a certain amount will be written off altogether.
