Did you know that the basis of the educational system of Northern Cyprus is the British model of education, consisting of 4 stages?
Stage 1 — preschool education.
Stage 2 — primary school.
Stage 3 — secondary school.
The cost of education in private schools is 1500-2000 USD per year. The more prestigious the school and the older the student, the more expensive his education costs for parents.
Stage 4 — Higher school (colleges, universities).
Higher education system:
• Bachelor's degree — duration of study from 3 to 4 years
• Master's degree — duration of study from 1 to 2 years
• Doctoral studies — 3 years
The annual cost of studying in Northern Cyprus for undergraduate courses ranges from 3,000 euros to 13,000 for one academic year, depending on the chosen specialty and educational institution. The cost of postgraduate education varies from 5,000 euros to 10,000 euros.
Most educational institutions adhere to the British education system: the student chooses the academic load himself and chooses the subjects that he is interested in. This reduces the cost of training: the fewer subjects, the lower the tuition fee. Two-degree programs are available to students, as well as exchange programs. The training is mainly conducted in English.
To attract and increase the number of students from other countries, universities offer 50% grants, discounts if there are 2 or more students from the same family, grants for athletes and holders of diplomas in international and local Olympiads.
All educational institutions in Cyprus issue diplomas that are recognized worldwide, and training takes place in accordance with European standards.
