The campaign called "Turkey - One Heart", which was attended by millions of people from show business representatives and business people to ordinary citizens and even children who donated money from their piggy banks, collected a record donation amount of 115,146,528 Turkish lira. Not a single Turkish company and not a single person remained on the sidelines. The campaign was launched with the president's speech: "We will overcome this test together. Every penny coming to the accounts of AFAD and Kızıla will be used to help the victims of the earthquake," Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

The course of this unprecedented campaign was broadcast live by 213 TV channels and 562 radio stations in Turkey and other countries.
