Landlord tricks to evict tenants in Turkey

Lawyer Shafak Baysal, a member of the Antalya Bar Association, spoke about a new method by which Turkish landlords are trying to evict unwanted tenants. The landlords closed the account that received the rent, and then filed an application with the court to evict the landlord on the basis of late payment of payments.
"The number of such lawsuits has increased significantly in recent times," Shafak Baysal added and recommended that residents who encounter such a problem immediately contact lawyers to file appropriate petitions in order to avoid forced eviction.
