The growth of tourist traffic continues

September 11, 2020

From the beginning of 2020 to the present day, the tourist capital of Turkey, Antalya province, has been visited by more than 1 million 600 thousand foreign tourists. At the moment, more than two hundred planes arrive at Antalya international airport every day. In just 10 days of this month, a little more than 280 thousand tourists arrived.
Russia is still the leader in the number of visitors to Turkish resorts, while Ukraine is in second place and Germany is in third.
Experts in the tourism sector expect an increase in the number of tourists, because autumn, the velvet season, is a favorite time for recreation among most Europeans.
According to the head of the tourist group Recep Yavuz, about 2.5 million more tourists are expected to arrive at the resorts of Turkey by the end of the season.
