Antalya province received more than 3 million tourists

October 19, 2020

According to the Antalya Department of culture and tourism, just over 3 million tourists visited Turkish resorts in the first ten months of 2020.

The leaders are still Russian citizens, followed by Ukrainians, Germans, British and poles.

According to Recep Yavuz, head of the tourism Department, at least one million more tourists are expected in October.

This year, due to the high demand among foreigners for holidays in Turkey, it was decided to increase the tourist season. Many seasonal hotels will continue operating until the end of November. It should also be noted that many travel agencies have already approved their winter Charter program. It is expected that the winter season in Turkey will be no less successful than the summer season, despite the difficult situation in the world.
