THE PROCESSES OF ESTABLISHING NEW BUILDINGS IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR SPEEDED UP

June 9, 2021

In connection with the reduction of "stocks" of vacant housing, the construction of new houses and residential complexes is rapidly gaining momentum.

Periodic lockdowns that have taken place have not stalled the industry: representatives of the sector confirm an imminent return to the "normal" pace of work. Although the pandemic continues, a normalization process has already begun in Turkey's construction sector. It should be noted that it goes pretty fast.

Artaş İnşaat Chairman of the Board Suleiman Chetinsaya said that, in his opinion, during the periods of forced “life pauses”, people have accumulated enough energy and motivation, and buyers will begin to invest heavily, and developers will quickly implement projects. “While the forced restrictions put the construction industry in a quandary, it made an effort to continue operating without interruption and to adapt to the new order whenever possible,” he said.

The results of which we are now seeing: there is no need to resort to a long restoration of "mothballed" work processes.
Confirming that, despite the pandemic, there was no decline in demand for residential real estate, Chetinsaya stressed: “Last year, the biggest incentive for purchasing real estate was the low interest rate on housing loans initiated by the authorities. Our company also saw this positive effect in the campaigns held during the pandemic. So very soon we hope to see serious activity on the part of investors, and in anticipation of this, Artaş İnşaat is continuously investing resources in its projects. "
