Festival Park Yenikapı in Istanbul

The Istanbul Festival, which is being organized for the third time this year, is preparing to bring together music and entertainment fans in the Festival Park Yenikapı. During the festival, which will take place from 2 to 18 August, the last subway and Marmaray trains will be extended. Metro services will be extended until 00.30

Last year, the Istanbul Festival was visited by more than 800 thousand visitors. The park covers 120 thousand square meters. The parking lot is designed for 8,000 cars.  Festival Park Yenikapı is located at the intersection of important subway lines, which provides easy access for visitors coming from both European and Asian sides. 

During the festival, additional service will be added from Yenikapı station until 00:30 to Marmaray services with an interval of 30 minutes. 

The ticket price starts at 300 lire.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
