Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu

At the meeting in Astana, the ministers discussed the expansion of supplies through the Trans-Caspian Corridor, trade, defense, transportation, the Turkic world, and touched on Afghanistan and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Both ministers agreed that relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan are strong and will continue to improve. "We are happy to note that our views on topical issues coincide," Hakan Fidan said and said that the trade turnover between the two countries increased by about 60% in 2022 and this figure continues to grow. In turn, Murat Nutrleu said that Turkey is the fourth largest trading partner of Kazakhstan.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will participate in the 10th anniversary summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Kazakhstan, which is scheduled for November 3.
