Grandiose festival "GİRNE FEST 23" in Northern Cyprus

Preparations for the "GİRNE FEST 23" festival, which will be held for the first time this year, are in full swing in Northern Cyprus. The 'GİRNE FEST 23' festival, which will be attended by more than 200 musicians, theater actors and artists from Turkey, the TRNC and various countries around the world, will be held from September 1 to October 10. A whole 40 days of fun and festivities!

A press conference on "GİRNE FEST 23" was held at the Girne Municipality Assembly Hall, where comprehensive information about the festival was presented.  The amphitheater of Girne Municipality has been designated as the main concert venue, but other landmark locations of TRNC will also be used. Artists such as Manga, Cahit Berkay and the Anatolian Symphony Orchestra, Ziynet Sali, Santana Tribute Band, Haluk Levent, Edip Akbayram, plus two performances by Turkey's state theaters will perform at the festival. There will also be competitions in water sports, underwater photography, badminton, beach soccer, canoeing and tennis. At the end of the competitions, awards and cups will be presented to the participants.

Tickets for all events can be purchased on the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com , and can also be obtained at the new building of Girne Municipality (information desk).

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
