The construction cost index in Turkey increased by 67.87 over the year%

According to TURKSTAT, the construction cost index in January 2024 increased by 15.70% compared to the previous month. Over the year, the index showed an increase of 67.87%.

Compared to the previous month, the construction materials cost index increased by 5.13%, and the labor force index increased by 41.95%. Over the year, the construction materials cost index increased by 53.29%, and the labor force index increased by 103.46%.

The construction cost index is an indicator of the change in the cost of materials and labor used in the construction sector over time. This index is used to track the growth or decrease in the cost of construction and identify economic trends in this sector.
