Margot Robbie will be the new face of the Turkish Airlines brand

Turkish Airlines, Turkey's flagship carrier, recently announced a partnership with Hollywood actress Margot Robbie. The famous actress will become the face of the airline, promoting a new route to Australia.

Ahmet Bolat, chairman of Turkish Airlines, officially announced the partnership. The airline plans to start flying to Australia in March 2024. Bolat shared that the Australian actress' involvement is not just a promotional effort. The strategy envisions Robbie coming to Turkey to experience various iconic places, including Göbeklitepe, a site of great historical significance.

In his statement, Bolat mentioned Turkish Airlines' cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism. The goal is to conquer key tourism markets including the United States, Canada, Mexico and several Asian countries and attract 10 million tourists.
