One of the world's largest cruise ships has arrived in Kusadasi

The Sun Princess cruise ship under the flag of Panama docked at the port of Kusadasi. There are 3,745 tourists on board the liner (most of them are US citizens) and 1,675 crew members. The Sun Princess was launched this year and this is its first voyage. A solemn ceremony was held in the port of Kusadasi, at which tourists were welcomed by the municipal orchestra and folk dance groups. Sun Princess will make 3 more flights to Kusadasi in 2024.

Kusadasi Mayor Omer Gunel also boarded the ship along with Kusadasi District Governor Ibrahim Keklik and an accompanying delegation. The mayor met with John Padgett, CEO of the company, and Captain Greg Street, presented them with various gifts and a thank-you sign.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
