Within the framework of the project "Free rest for pensioners", announced by the Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Yshihan, pensioners who have the right to live in public hostels, begin to visit the resorts of Turkey. Applications for participation in the project, which started in Antalya, can be submitted online. Pensioners are provided with free accommodation for a week from 15 July to 15 August 2024. In the future, pensioners will be able to visit other popular resorts in Turkey.

The couple Nazife and Mehmet Atik, who came from Ankara with their grandchildren, spoke positively about the project: "Antalya is very beautiful and very clean. We really liked the hostel. Free holidays - a good opportunity for pensioners. We go to the sea and visit the attractions. The important thing is that the rooms have air conditioning."
