Blue Exile Underwater Park Opens in Bodrum

June 18, 2024

The first stage of the Blue Exile Art Project (BEAP) underwater park was opened in Bodrum on the island of Bitez Mevka Görežek. The project is implemented in cooperation with the project "Poseidon", Bodrum Municipality, Bodrum Maritime Museum and Rotary Club "Blue Aegean Sea".

Selen Jambazoglu, project coordinator and manager of the Bodrum Marine Museum: "There are similar underwater parks in the world and in our country, however, we can show Bodrum Underwater Park as the only underwater park that combines ecology and art. The theme of the underwater park in 2024 was "Oxygen". We want to draw attention to the fact that the most important source of oxygen in our world are the seas. We are trying to show how important it is to respect the marine ecosystem in order to preserve the purity of the water in Bodrum, the abundance of marine life and the wealth of our shores. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the creation of the BEAP Underwater Park".
