Turkish government to pay 75 million liras to farmers under agriculture support program

Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumaklı announced that 75 million 877 thousand liras of agricultural support payments will be transferred to farmers' accounts. "As part of our projects for the development of the agricultural sector and production of certified seeds, today we will transfer 75 million 877 thousand liras to the accounts of our farmers," the minister wrote on social media.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
