Turkish President visits Ayder Plateau, referred to as "Turkish Switzerland"

November 8, 2023

Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Turkey's famous tourist region Ayder Plateau. The plateau is located in the province of Rize in the district of Çamlımşin on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and is one of the most picturesque places in the country. Here, at an altitude of 1350 meters above sea level, coniferous and beech forests with beautiful waterfalls, mountain rivers and healing thermal springs stretch out. The beauty of this place is compared to the European Alps. The first settlements date back to the XIII century. Since 1944 the plateau of Aider was made a national park of Turkey. From the nearest large city Rize you can get here by minibus. Trabzon airport is 155 km away.

The President of Turkey arrived here for a solemn ceremony dedicated to the completion of large-scale improvement and transformation works, which began in 2017. The entire area has been completely cleared of debris and the TOKİ Housing Authority has built new buildings here that match the atmosphere of the region architecturally.

If you are not indifferent to the natural beauty, appreciate the environment and are used to a high level of comfort, our agency is ready to offer you excellent spacious apartments in a new ready-made gasified complex with good infrastructure in Rize, just 200 meters from the Black Sea. Prices start from 108.000 dollars for a two bedroom 2+1 apartment with an area of 106 m2.
