Five tons of free hamsi at the Alanya Festival!

The traditional anchovy (hamsi) festival organized by the Alanya Black Sea People's Association (ALKARDER) will be held on November 25-26 in the square at the foot of the Red Fortress of Alanya. The organizers invite all residents and guests to take part in the festivities. Five tons of hamsi will be cooked by chefs and offered free of charge as a treat to everyone! At the exhibition stands it will be possible to buy products, products and souvenirs of the Black Sea region. The stage of the festival will host concerts of musicians performing traditional music of the Black Sea region, and dance groups in beautiful costumes will show folk dances.

Update 11/24/2023: Due to weather conditions, the Alanya Anchovy Festival scheduled for this weekend has been rescheduled for November 27 and 28!

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
