According to the head of Rosatom Alexey Likhacheva, the President of Turkey personally decided to allocate a site for the construction of a second nuclear power plant in the country to a Russian company. Likhachev reports that the details of the project are currently being studied, however, the construction site has already been determined - near the city of Sinop on the Black Sea coast. At the same time, a TASS interlocutor from the Turkish Ministry of Energy says that negotiations with the Russian Federation on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Sinop are still under discussion.
