With the start of the season, the prices for renting villas in Bodrum have skyrocketed

April 24, 2024

With the advent of the tourist season in Bodrum, the monthly rent for summer houses and villas has reached sky-high heights. The average cost of a weekly rental of a 2+1 summer house for 4 people is 30 thousand liras, and the prices for villas reach 25 million liras! Villas rented last season for 200,000 lire per month are now being rented for millions of lire. In ultra-luxury villas with sea views located in the areas of Gelturkbukyu, Gundogan, Yalikavak and Ortakent, the rent starts from 90 thousand liras and reaches 25 million liras!

Examples of villa rental offers in Bodrum:

-The average cost of renting villas in the Gelkey area is 9 million liras
-duplex villa of 350 sq. m. layout 5+1 with sea views of Sennet Bay - 25 million liras!
- a mansion with a helipad in the Turkbukune area - 6 million liras
- one-storey villa 3+1 with sea view in Yalikavak - 1 million 150 thousand liras

Necati Yavuz, the owner of a real estate agency, said that the prices are prohibitively high: "These figures are extremely high and are most likely a trick to attract attention. It is necessary to take control of the real estate market in Bodrum. Otherwise, we risk losing investors who, looking at such figures, will turn their eyes to Greece, which is more accessible in this regard."
