From tomorrow, the holy month of Ramadan will begin for all Muslims, during which the faithful will keep a fast. You can eat and drink only after sunset. The evening meal is called "iftar".
In Alanya, on the main square near the administration building, iftars for residents of the city will be held every day, as well as various events, concerts and performances.
The Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yudzhel, said that more than 4,500 citizens will be provided with assistance. Food packages will also be delivered to the homes of those who cannot attend iftar on their own.
