According to the Travel and Tourism Index 2024 (TTDI) report prepared by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Turkey rose 8 positions and took 29th place among 119 countries. The World Travel and Tourism Index has been analyzing the travel and tourism sectors of countries since 2007, taking into account many factors,

Turkey's index of 4.39 points is 10.6% higher than the global average and 3% higher than the European average, making Turkey enter the category that includes Italy, Spain, Malta and Croatia.

Turkey is the second country in the world that pays the most attention to tourism. Turkey has improved the priority of travel and tourism by 14% and has risen by 18 positions, becoming the second country in the world that pays the most attention to tourism.

Turkey has improved its air transport infrastructure, rising by 10 indicators in this category and taking 8th place among the top 10 countries in the world.

According to the indicator "Cultural assets", Turkey rose by 7 positions and took 16th place in the field not related to entertainment.
