Turkey ranks first in terms of sales of tours in the UK, Benelux, Scandinavia and Germany

President of the Mediterranean Association of Tourist Hoteliers and Operators (AKTOB) After visiting the ITB Berlin Tourism Exhibition, Caan Cavaloglu said that the 2024 tourist season promises to be successful for Turkey. Travel operators from the UK, Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg), Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland) and Germany report a significant increase in demand for tours to Turkey.

"The Berlin ITB Fair is the most important tourism exhibition for mass tourism. German, British and other European operators are present here, which allows us to see how the season will start and how it will develop. I noted that there is a very good flow of bookings to Antalya in particular and to Turkey in general," Kavaloglu commented on the results of the fair. He also expressed confidence that the tourist flow to Antalya this season will exceed 17 million people.

"Turkey currently ranks first in sales of tours from the UK, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia and Germany. It makes us feel proud," Cavaloglu added.
