March 27, 2024

In 2023, 93 luxury yachts were produced and sold in the Antalya Free Zone! General Director of Antalya Free Zone A.S. (AS BAS) Zeki Gyurses reported that the cost of their sale amounted to $ 143 million. The yachts have been sold to many countries such as the USA, Russia, Israel, Vietnam, the Netherlands and Ecuador. He also noted that having broken the record for sales of luxury yachts in 2023, the free zone is preparing for a new record in 2024.

The total yacht production in the Antalya Free Zone from 2000 to the end of February 2024 amounted to 705 units worth 1 billion 692 million dollars. "The global demand for medium-sized yachts, catamarans, solar-powered yachts and hybrid yachts has increased, especially after the pandemic period. The Antalya Free Zone is quickly meeting this demand thanks to our yacht manufacturing companies," Gurses said.
