Alanya Municipality has announced the start of applications for the International Blue Flag Beach Quality Certificate. Applications will be accepted until December 8, 2023. Currently, there are 68 beaches, 6 public beaches, 1 barrier-free public beach, 3 marinas and 1 marina in Alanya.

Environment Protection and Control Manager Sevda Chapa said, "The Blue Flag applications for the 2024 summer season have started. Beach and marina managers must submit an online application through http://www.mavibayrak.org.tr/ to receive the certificate for the new season.

Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yuzhdel said: "We are delighted that Alanya has the highest number of Blue Flag certificates in the Mediterranean region. I would like our hotels to register for the Blue Flag program in 2024 as well and help increase this number of certificates in our region."
