Construction of a mixed-use complex is in full swing in Mersin's Mezitli neighborhood

September 8, 2023

Mayor Vahap Secher inspected the construction of a 4-storey multi-functional complex being built by the Municipality of the capital in Fındıkpınarı neighborhood of Mezitli district. The construction area of the complex is 1,600 m2. The complex will mainly function as a multi-storey parking lot. Plus, a mobile market will operate on the first floor on certain days of the week, and the area of the fourth floor is planned to be used for various events: open-air movie screenings, wedding ceremonies, concerts, etc.

"One of the important problems of the neighborhood is the problem of car parking. That is why we decided to realize this multifunctional project here. The project is 45% complete and is very likely to be delivered in November 2023," the mayor said.
