In Turkey, the festival "Cultural Path of Turkey" is in full swing

About six thousand cultural events are planned to be held as part of the "Cultural Path of Turkey" festival. Some of the activities have already taken place in Shanlyurfa, Bursa, Samsun, Trabzon, Vane and Neghehirah. Other provinces of the country are just getting ready to take the relay of the festival: 

Erzurum - 17-25 August
Chanakkala - 31 August-8 September
Gazantep - 14-22 September
Ankara - 21-29 September
Istanbul - 28 September - 6 October
Diyarbakir - 12-20 October
Izmir - 26 October - 3 November
Antalya - 2 - 10 November

The festival, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in cooperation with the European Association of Festivals (EFA), aims to popularize the tourist potential of Turkey and acquaint viewers with the traditions and cultural values of the country.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
