January 31, 2024

Kadir Bayer bought a car in Afyon and drove it to Antalya. Upon arrival, he found that a fine in the amount of 150.600 lira ($5,000) had been issued in his name for speeding. "The instantaneous speed violation detection system installed in Kilic arslan in Sinan Pasha district on the Afyonkarakhisar-Antalya road recorded that I exceeded the speed by 82 kilometers. When I logged into the e-devlet system, I saw that the fine was 150.600 liras. I have no way to pay this fine. I went to Afyon to earn 50 thousand liras on the resale of cars and eventually received a fine three times the amount I saved," Kadir said and said that he would protest this fine.
