Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Yışıhan, speaking to reporters in Ankara, announced the increase in civil servants' salaries and pensions and other regulations.
"The minimum salary of a civil servant in Turkey will increase from 22017 liras to 33,000 liras. I would also like to mention that 1 million 899 thousand people have retired under the EYT program. Also, a program to support young people, housewives and the elderly, whose insurance premiums will be fully paid by the state, will be presented to the president in the near future," Vedat İşıhan said.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
