Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay reported on the progress of search and rescue operations after the earthquake

The Vice President made a statement about the earthquake affecting 10 provinces: "At the moment, 18342 people are listed as dead, 74242 were injured, 72879 people were rescued. 29,622 specially equipped rescuers are working at the site, of which 6,479 are rescuers from 75 different countries that have supported Turkey. The total number of people involved in the assistance process was 120,340 people. In Kilis, Osmaniye and Sanliurfa, the analysis of the rubble has been completed. The planes made 2293 departures. THY Turkish Airlines transported 72000 injured citizens and rescuers free of charge."
