Juries have selected the participants of the 18th Alanya International Sculpture Festival to be held in Alanya in November

The sculptors who will take part in the 18th Alanya International Sculpture Festival organized by Alanya Municipality and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University have been selected. The festival, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our republic, will start on November 1 on the square next to the Municipality building and will last until November 30.

Applications for participation in the festival were submitted by 55 sculptors from 27 countries. At the jury meeting chaired by Prof. Bülent Çınar from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts, 10 sculptors were selected to participate in the festival:

Berta Shortiss - Switzerland

Bouaziz Mohamed - Tunisia

Claudia Zanaga - Italy

Erkan Yılmaz - Turkey

Esfandiar Moradpor - Iran

Genti Tavanshiu - Italy

Malkhaz Tsiskadze - Georgia

Tolga Yurtozveri - Turkey

Volodymyr KOCHMAR - Ukraine

Türkiye increases purchases of Western LNG: new contract with TotalEnergies.

Turkey s state-owned energy company Botas has signed a new long-term contract with France s TotalEnergies for the supply of 16 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year. The agreement will come into force in 2027 and is designed for 10 years, providing Turkey with an additional 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas annually.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
