The Prime Minister stressed that the tourism sector is the driving force of the country s economy, and the extension of the visa-free regime to 60 days for citizens of 93 countries will facilitate travel and stimulate the economy. Thai government spokesman Chay Wacharong said that to stimulate the economy and tourism sector, the Ministry of Interior has published a number of proposals.
