Number of donor-kebabs that can be bought on scholarship in Turkey
An interesting study: in 2024 a student in Turkey on his monthly scholarship can buy only the 16 cheapest chicken donor kebabs. In Alanya will open an exhibition in the Hunting Pavilion Sedra
The Cedre Hunting Mansion, one of the rare examples of Seljuk-era mansion architecture, will be opened to the public as a special place, telling about the history and culture of hunting in the region. The Cedre Hunting Lodge, which was started during the reign of Mustafa Aras, was in a state of unfinished business. The interior and exterior of the two-storey mansion located on the bank of the Sedre stream in the Demirtaş district have already been completed. The interior tells about the history of hunting, about the hunting culture of Alanya with the help of black and white photographs and the architectural structure of the pavilion. In addition, various activity zones for children have been created in the mansion. To increase children s interest in historical sites, stands telling about hunting, stands for fun games and figurines of various animals were placed here. Mayor Osman Taryk Ozcelik: "We have completed the preparation of this historic site and will open it to visitors in the coming days. We will continue to protect the historic buildings that we have brought to cultural tourism and will pass them on to future generations".

The number of Turkish citizens travelling abroad is increasing every year
According to the Turkish statistical institute TÜİK, the number of Turkish citizens visiting abroad in 2022 was 7. 266. 773 people. The average cost per person was $589. A new concrete plant started working in Alanya
The new concrete plant, built on the territory of the asphalt concrete construction site of Alanya municipality in Oba Kyzyljashehir district, has started work. Thanks to this plant, the first trial of which was very successful, the concrete production in the municipality has increased threefold. The concrete produced at the plant will be used in the concrete works of the municipality of Alanya in the city, as well as bring income to the municipality by selling concrete to other regions. In addition to the plant, an asphalt emulsion plant with a capacity of 10 tons, two combined road surfacing machines, a patching robot and a mobile waste disposal machine were also put into operation. It is noted that the mobile waste disposal vehicle was donated to the municipality of Alanya as part of the "Zero Waste" project of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Mayor Ozcelik and his accompanying delegation inspected the factory and new vehicles: "We have achieved the ability to apply 800 meters of asphalt in two layers in an hour and a half. We have also commissioned an asphalt emulsion plant. We used to work with the Gazipasha Municipality, but now we can work independently of the neighbor. The Alanya Municipality started work on inclusion of the Alanya Gyulüklu Soup in the UNESCO Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage
The municipality of Alanya has started working together with the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism to include the geographical unique taste of Alanya, Guluku soup, in the National Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Turkey by UNESCO. In this regard, the head of the sector of living heritage and cultural activities of the provincial department of culture and tourism Aysund Ciobanoglu Davulchu and her team held a meeting at the House of Culture "Cuisine" of the municipality of Alanya. During the meeting, the process of preparing Guluku soup was recorded from the beginning to the end, which is one of the important tastes of the local cuisine and the first registered soup of Antalya and Alanya. Oztüketim-2 solar power plant commissioned in Alanya
The mayor of Alanya inspected a new solar power plant in the Toslak district. After the commissioning of Ozt ketim-2, two full-fledged SES will operate in the region. Ozt ketim-2 is located on an area of 30,400 square meters. 4,192 panels with 550 W module and 20 inverters of 100 kilowatts (kW) were used in the project. The installed capacity of Ozt ketim-2 is 2305.6 kW of DC and 2000 kW of AC. Mayor of Alanya Osman Taryk Ozcelik: "We have made panels and control panels of our solar power plant called Özt ketim-2, which was previously designed by our municipality. The facility has been completed and power lines will be received this week. In the future, electricity from this facility will be transferred to our municipality. I would like to thank all those who contributed to the construction of this facility". The municipality of Alanya does not plan to stop there and in the near future will start implementing a new phase of SES - Özt ketim-3.
