126-year-old Ayse Bayri, living in the Suluwa area of Amasya, witnessed the reign of the last three Ottoman sultans - Sultan Abdulhamit II, Sultan Mehmed Mehmed Reshada V and Sultan Mehmed Vahddin VI, as well as twelve presidents from Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to Erdoğan.

Aysha has five children and 20 grandchildren. Head of the Yeni Selal Lafchi quarter was surprised by the age of the woman he noticed during his pre-election work, and out of curiosity went to her home: "Our grandmother Aisha is 126 years old! In Turkey, probably, there is not a single person of the same age. We are proud that she lives in our district".
