September 11, 2020

At ÇOMÜ University, which is located in Canakkale, employees were able to develop a unique test for coronavirus. At the moment, there are no analogues in any country in the world.
According to scientists, the test they developed will be able to show the presence or absence of covid-19 infection within just eight minutes. Now, the presented test is undergoing numerous tests. After receiving the certificate, this test can be implemented in the fight against the pandemic worldwide.
"The test developed by our scientists will be able to give a 100 percent result, unlike the PCR test, which is only 63 percent accurate," said Mustafa Kemal Sezginturk, rector of ÇOMÜ University.
