From September 21, Turkish citizens will have the opportunity to combine a driver's license with a Turkish passport - kimlik. This new stage of development in the field of documents was announced by Turkish interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
All citizens who have both a kimlik and a new - style driver's license with a chip will be able to perform the unification procedure.
You can combine two documents into one for free. In order to download information from the driver's license to kimlik, you need to contact Nüfus Müdürlüğü-Department of population Affairs. After the driver's license expires, the information from the video is deleted automatically.
