Antalya is a record - breaking city for the number of tourists

September 24, 2020

Today, it is unlikely that any country on the Mediterranean coast will be able to approach such an indicator of the number of tourists as in Turkey. The country has already been visited by more than two million tourists.
The positive dynamics of growth in purchases of tourist vouchers and air tickets to the southern Republic only confirms the desire of foreign citizens to spend their holidays in Turkish resorts. Antalya airport receives more than a hundred fully loaded aircraft every day. More than 50 flights a day arrive from Russia to the tourist capital. Russian tourists still remain in the lead among all foreign citizens who visited Turkey for the purpose of recreation.
Turkey's tourism sector has decided to extend the season until the end of November and the beginning of December. Also, the country's authorities declare complete safety of recreation at their resorts, since only those hotels that have successfully passed the test and received a "certificate of Safe Tourism"are allowed to work.
