Turkish delivery service Getir enters the European and Asian markets

Getir is a Turkish fast delivery service that already operates in 21 cities in Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, opened its office in the first European city this year. The choice of the company in January 2021 fell on London and 5 service centers have already been opened there. The founder of the service, Nazim Salur, said that they plan to open 25 more centers and develop in other cities in the UK in the future. There are also plans to open branches in France and the Netherlands.

Nazim Salur shared that the company is looking for business partners in Asia in order to launch its activities in the Asian market by July 2021. The leader especially emphasizes the desire to work in Japan, because The Chinese delivery service market is already in fierce competition.

A little about the company itself, in 2015 it became one of the first in the domestic market of Turkey, who carried out a 10-minute delivery of essential products. The distinctive features of their business model are speed of service and a more beneficial pricing system for the buyer.

The service currently has 3.5 million active users.
