Tourism is embarking on a recovery from the global crisis caused by the pandemic. At the same time, the real estate rental market in the resort regions is undergoing changes relative to the indicators of the last failed season. Real estate experts state that the cost of renting residences on the coast of Turkey has grown by 50-60%.
This change in pricing has not only affected villas and residences. For example, in Cesme, a resort town on the coast of the Aegean Sea, not even a house, but just a comfortable spacious apartment with a "common" (for all residents of the complex) pool will cost you from 350 to 750 thousand lira for three months of the summer season ...
In the prestigious areas of Marmaris, the rental price varies from 1,000 to 5,000 Turkish lira per day.
Demand for rental houses and apartments has grown among residents of Istanbul, Bursa and even Izmir.
Now, not all locals who are accustomed to vacationing in Bodrum, Kas or Kalkan can afford to rent housing in these places.
For example, in Alacati, a small Turkish village on the Cesme peninsula on the western coast of the Aegean Sea, the “seasonal” rental of a house with 3 bathrooms and 4 rooms - and not with its own, but with a “shared” pool - is now 165,000 Turkish lira.
The Association of Marmaris Realtors assumes that detached villas will not be offered either for daily or seasonal rent in the vicinity of the resort this summer: after all, by now they have actually been dismantled. Villas 4 + 1 (with four bedrooms), with a swimming pool, garden and infrastructure, which were previously considered very luxurious, are now rented at a price of 3,000 to 5,000 Turkish lira per day.
