April 20, 2024

On April 23, Turkey celebrates the state holiday of National Sovereignty and Children's Day (Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı). On April 23, holidays for children are held in all cities of Turkey. Concerts, fun contests and other entertainment events are held in city squares. The holiday is an official weekend, so all government offices will be closed.

On this day, the TCG GÖKSU warship (F-497) and the Coast Guard cutter TCSG 92 will be open for free access in the port of Alanya. Visiting hours are from 10:00-17:00.
