en67 districts in Turkey claim to be provinces

The president of the Antalya branch of the Chamber of Cartographers and Cadastral Engineers, Okan Hancher, said that during the latest survey it was found that 67 districts with a population of more than 100,000 people and a distance of at least 30 kilometers from the city center have the potential to become independent provinces.
According to Hancher, districts such as Siverek, Viransehir, Alanya, Manavgat, Torbalı, Silivri and Çorlu have the best chance of becoming provinces.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors
Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
