9 Turkish universities have entered the top 500 of the CWTS Leiden Ranking

9 Turkish universities have been ranked among the world's top 500 universities according to the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2023. A total of 206 universities in Turkey were evaluated and 9 of them managed to make it to the Leiden list:

Istanbul Technical University
Bilkent University
Boğaziçi University
Koç University
Sabancı University
Çankaya University

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public. Those who do not want to be on the list of "tax debtors" will have to pay off their debts by the end of September 2024. Taxpayers from earthquake-hit areas will be excluded from the measure.
