Antalya ranked second on the list of Turkish provinces with the highest number of divorces

According to the report of the Turkish statistical institute TÜİK, there are 2.94 divorces per thousand marriages in Antalya. The list of provinces with the highest number of divorces is as follows: 

Izmir - 3.05 per thousand
Antalya - 2.94 per thousand
Karaman - 2.80 per thousand
Eskisehir - 2.77 per thousand
Mugla - 2.76 per thousand
Aydin - 2.69 per thousand
Denizli - 2.6 per thousand
Ushak - 2.59 per thousand
Tekirdag - 2.52 per thousand
Chanakkale - 2.48 per thousand

The provinces with the lowest divorce rate are: Hakkari 0.36 per thousand, Shirnak 0.44 per thousand and Mush 0.55 per thousand.

Looking at the number of divorces by length of marriage, 33.4 per cent of divorces in 2023 occurred during the first five years of marriage, 21.7 per cent during 6-10 years of marriage, 15.8 per cent during 11-15 years of marriage, 12.4 per cent during 16-20 years of marriage, 7.7 per cent during 21-10 years of marriage25 years of marriage and 9% after 26 years of marriage.

Turkey's Finance Ministry to Reveal Names of Major Tax Debtors

Finance and Treasury Minister Mehmet Simsek said the names of taxpayers with tax arrears and fines of 5 million lira or more will be made public.
