Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines have introduced a service for transporting animals in a nearby passenger seat

Passengers of Aeroflot and Rossiya companies will now be able to transport pets in the next passenger seat in the cabin, According to information on the airline's website, a passenger can carry one container with an animal or bird in economy, comfort and business classes. The container with the animal must be placed on the seats near the porthole and remain in the carrier during the flight. The cost of a seat for an animal is equivalent to the cost of a ticket for an adult passenger. In total, passengers are allowed to transport up to three animals at the same time: two in the cabin in one container and one in the luggage compartment.

The maximum weight of the container together with the animal is 15 kg. Dimensions for economy and comfort classes for rigid containers - 50×35×30 cm, semi-rigid - 50×35× 32 cm. For business class: rigid - 50×40×30 cm, semi—rigid - 50×40×40 cm.
