June 5, 2023

The Women's Health Center in Mersin, in cooperation with the municipality and the health department, has begun providing free psychologist consultations for women and adolescents. Through the Psychologist Support Program, visitors can receive individual and family counseling on issues such as anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

Under the guidance of a professional psychologist, clients can receive 8 to 12 sessions, and the period can be extended to 20 sessions if needed.  Teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17 are usually offered counseling on stress management and anxiety reduction during exams.

To take advantage of this service, you must contact the center by calling "Alo 185" or +90 324 502 79 16 and make an appointment. The center is open on weekdays from 08:00 to 17:00.  "We invite all women and adolescents who need psychological help to visit our counseling center for women's health," said Semiha Kara, the center's psychologist
