The Battle for Istanbul: Ekrem Imamoglu or Murat Kurum?

According to a survey conducted by the research and consulting company ASAL, it turned out that if local elections were held in Istanbul now, Ekrem Imamoglu would win, for whom 41.9% of respondents voted. Murat Kurum won 40.8% of the votes.

The survey was conducted using the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Survey) method with the participation of 2,000 people aged 18 and over in 39 districts of Istanbul in the period from February 23 to 27, 2024.
