Ankara Business Forum and new plans for cooperation between Turkey and Kazakhstan

A business forum dedicated to the relations between Turkey and Kazakhstan was held in Ankara. A number of important meetings and other events were held. As a result of the forum, the countries signed ten commercial agreements in the field of investment cooperation totaling more than $ 180 million. This includes a memorandum on the export of finished products, agreements on the construction of a logistics hub and various plants, and an agreement on the exchange of best practices in the field of seed production.

At the moment, the volume of trade between Turkey and Kazakhstan has exceeded $10 billion. Kazakhstan exports 34 types of goods worth $630 million to Turkey, the parties implement one hundred joint projects, and the total amount of investment projects is $3.8 billion. This was announced by Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, noting that Turkey plans to further strengthen cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of mining, electric power, logistics and transport.
